Mark Gurman in his newsletter said that Apple may soon release M1X-powered MacBook Pros. Gurman wrote: “The MacBook Pro wait is likely almost over: The new MacBook Pro didn’t appear at Apple’s September product unveiling, but it should still be launching in the coming weeks. Apple typically does its major new Mac introductions in October. So stay tuned. The Apple M1X chip, the likely name for a more graphic-intense and professional-focused M1 chip, is indeed still on tap for 2021. We’ll likely see it show up first in a new range of MacBook Pros in the next month and a higher-end Mac mini at some point. The M1X has been developed in two variations: both with 10 CPU cores (eight high-performance and two high-efficiency) and either 16 or 32 graphics cores.” ALSO READ: Tata CLiQ TEN ON TEN Sale 2021: Biggest Deals on Smartphones, Electronics, and more A higher-end version of the Mac mini will also use the new chip “at some point.” According to the report, two variants of the M1X have been developed. This chip has ten cores, including eight high-performance cores and two highly efficient cores. In accordance with industry sources, Apple is on schedule to deliver LEDs and other components to its assembly partners for the MacBook Pros. Apple’s inclusion of mini-LED displays in its upcoming MacBook lineups will lead to a rapid uptake of the display technology by other suppliers. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is already “looking for second suppliers of key Mini LED components”, and if its mini-LED notebooks receive positive feedback, other notebook makers and their suppliers will be compelled to adopt the technology. There is a rumor that it may come with a mini-LED 13-inch display, an upgrade over the MacBook Air. At its September event, Apple announced the iPhone 13 series, the Apple Watch Series 7, and several new iPads. If the launch event is as soon as it appears, we’re eager to see what the new MacBook Pros have to offer. Since some of this year’s Apple leaks have failed to materialize, it’s important to take this news with a grain of salt. Via
